T Pins feature a T bar head and a sharp point that easily penetrates surfaces without bending or breaking. The top of the pin has a bend in it, which gives the T-pin its T-shape. Nickel plated with a steel inner core which helps keep the points sharp.

T-Pins secure fabrics or materials to a hard surface. They are useful for pinning fabrics together when doing upholstery, sewing with tough fabrics and blocking lace.  There are no rounded balls on the end and nothing that will melt so you can iron right over them.

They have a variety of uses….everything from pinning papers onto cork boards to working on wigs to creating craft projects. T Pins are perfect for working with heavy pile fabrics (like upholstery, home decor weight, and duck cloth) as well as  loose knits because the head won’t disappear or slip into fabrics.

These are the best pins for modelling, they cost quite a bit more than standard pins but they excel in what they do and they’re also a lot safer due to the unique folded head (hence the name “T-pin”). Keep them in a dedicated container, preferrably with a magnet to hold them in as they are easy to loose.
