Art Deco style buttons with a rear shank for fixing. Made from metalised plastic known as ABS. Looks and feels like metal but lightweight. 3D design featuring horizontl and vertical lines with a chain design through the centre.

The colour has been described as “silver” but the real color of the button may be slightly different from the pictures shown which is caused by many factors such as brightness of your monitor and light brightness.

These Art deco style shank buttons are ideal for Coats, jackets blazers and costumes but are also suitable for all sewing, knitting and craft projects.

Shank buttons have a hollow protrusion on the back through which thread is sewn through to attach the button to the cloth.

Helpful Tips

For button size, please measure the outer largest diameter from one edge of the button across to the other. For domed buttons it is easier to measure across the back of the button.

Sewing buttons is very easy once you get the hang of it. It’s a very useful skill to possess, as buttons do fall off.
